Terms of use.

What Plont is
Plont is a plant-care companion. It helps you identify plants, understand their needs, remember care tasks and keep a record of your plants.
Guidance, not guarantees
- Plant identification is a suggestion made from a photo. It can be wrong. Check it before you rely on it.
- Care information, including watering, light and whether a plant is safe for pets, is general guidance. Every home and plant is different.
- Plont is not a substitute for a veterinarian, doctor or other professional. If a pet or person may have eaten a plant, contact one straight away.
- We cannot promise that following the guidance will keep any plant alive.
Your account
You need to be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Give us accurate details, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account.
Free and Premium
- Plont has a free plan. Limits on the free plan, such as how many plants you can keep active, are shown in the app and can change.
- Premium is an optional paid subscription. Its price is shown at checkout before you pay, with taxes included where the checkout says so.
- Premium renews automatically each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time (see Cancellation and refunds).
- Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, who sells Premium to you as the merchant of record. Their terms and privacy policy apply to the payment itself.
- If a renewal payment fails, your subscription may be put on hold and Premium may pause until the payment is fixed.
- We may change a price or Premium’s features. We will tell you before a price change affects your next renewal, and you can cancel before then.

Our responsibility
We work to keep Plont running and accurate, but it is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of plants, pets or property that results from relying on the app’s guidance. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect, and continuing to use Plont after that means you accept it.
