A plant-care reminder is a reason to look
Remembering a plant and deciding to water it are two different things. Plont helps you remember the next check, then asks what you found. A date alone does not tell you whether the plant needs water.
Add a plant through Scan or Browse, set its starting point, and choose the next local date to check it. Today is the place to return to your care tasks.
Three honest answers
For a watering check, record the decision that matches what happened:
- Watered
- You checked and watered the plant. This records watering in its care history.
- Still moist
- You checked and decided to wait. This does not record watering or change the last-watered date.
- Unsure
- You have not reached a confident decision. Record that uncertainty without pretending you watered.
Choose your next check date after the decision. The right interval depends on the plant and its conditions; it is not a universal watering schedule.
What a useful check can look like
Illustrative example
“The mix still feels moist, so I did not water. I chose another date to look again.”
That is a complete care decision. Returning to the plant does not have to end with pouring water. For a practical example, read when to water a money plant.
Choose how you want to be reminded
After signing in, open Profile to opt in to browser reminders or the daily care email. Permission is your choice; visiting this page does not request it.
Browser support and device settings affect notifications. A browser reminder being sent does not guarantee you will see it. You can always return to Today to review your care tasks.
Start with two plants free
Free includes two active plants and care reminders. Premium permits more plants and identification and requires payment, with no free trial. Check the current plan details in Profile before upgrading.
Plont works in your browser and can be added to your home screen. Your care checks stay with your account.
